Scot Greenwell has appeared in Indy Shakes' productions of The Winter's Tale, Twelfth Night, The Merchant of Venice, Much Ado About Nothing, Othello and The Taming of the Shrew.
In 2018, Scot is producing the Traveling Troupe's Macbeth, Indy Shakes' first outreach and education program. He will also appear as Junius Brutus in the main stage production of Coriolanus.
Other credits include: A Midsummer Night's Dream (Indiana Repertory Theatre); Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Freud's Last Session, Next Fall, The Vibrator Play, and The Lyons (Phoenix Theatre); The Grapes of Wrath, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Santaland Diaries(Cardinal Stage Company).
Directorial credits include: Drunk Enough to Say I Love You? (Phoenix) and A Steady Rain (Acting Up Productions).
Scot grew up in southern Indiana, graduated from the University of Evansville's prestigious theatre program, spent an errant and fabulous year in L.A., and is now a 10-year resident of Indy's Fountain Square neighborhood. Among other things, he enjoys pinot noir, domestic and foreign travel, and medium- to large-breed canines.
